PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We live in a digital age, and our students are accustomed to working with technology in their personal and school lives.  We as educators need to realize that and learn how to infuse technology to energize our classroom.  My expertise is in supporting fellow math teachers use edtech tools to create a student-centered classroom.  In addition to working with school, I have also presented at the state, regional and national level.

BIO

I have been a math educator for over 25 years.  I have a degree in Mathematics from St. Joseph's University and have been teaching Math in the South Jersey area my whole career.  One of the highlights of my career was presenting at the NCTM national conference.  My resume includes working for several edtech and curriculum companies, which give me a unique perspective of the role of edtech in the math classroom.

TESTIMONIALS

What’s Being Said

The feedback from your presentation has been awesome.  The teachers enjoyed it, learned a ton and are hoping to see you again.  The usage for Desmos activities has increased at all levels.  Teachers have not stopped talking about the quality of your presentation.

Karen Gronikowski

I thought that both the morning and afternoon sessions were focused, engaging, and well-calibrated to our teacher’s needs.  It’s up to us now to apply this with students!

I’d certainly recommend you to a colleague and will strongly consider requesting that you return to work with our middle level teachers.  I appreciated your offer to be of continuing support to our teachers through social media.
